Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced QC Inspector for piping to ensure fabrication, welding and installation meet project specifications and client requirements across Oil & Gas and Energy projects.

The ideal candidate will verify materials, coordinate NDT, review inspection reports and perform hydrostatic/pneumatic testing inspections. Strong knowledge of piping isometrics and welding processes is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 35 years QC Piping experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials isometrics and welding processes.
• Certifications like CSWIP/ASNT/API preferred.
• Familiar with ASME API ISO codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication fit-up welding and installation.
• Verify piping material compliance (MTCs heat numbers batch numbers).
• Coordinate NDT (RT/UT/MT/PT) and review inspection reports.
• Perform hydrostatic/pneumatic testing inspections: test package review, leak testing, pressure hold and line walk-downs.
• Inspect supports, hangers and spring supports installation.
• Prepare and close punch lists and maintain QA/QC documentation.
