Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking a certified API Inspector to support oil, gas and petrochemical projects. The candidate will inspect pressure vessels, piping systems and storage tanks in line with API standards and client requirements.

The role focuses on in-service inspection, corrosion assessment and integrity evaluation, with ASNT Level II preferred and strong reporting and communication skills in English. Based in the UAE, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• API 510, API 570, API 653 certifications mandatory.
• Minimum 8-10 years of inspection experience in oil & gas / petrochemical projects.
• ASNT Level II (UT/MT/PT/RT) preferred.
• Good reporting and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection reports and recommendations
• Monitor NDT activities and verify compliance with codes and specifications
• Identify defects raise NCRs and follow up corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with HSE and client requirements

Role Overview:

Orbit ISS is seeking a certified and experienced API Inspector to support oil & gas and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and integrity assessment of pressure vessels piping systems and storage tanks in compliance with API standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections in accordance with API 510 570 and 653
• Prepare inspection reports and recommendations
• Monitor NDT activities and verify compliance with codes and specifications
• Identify defects raise NCRs and follow up corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with HSE and client requirements

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Mandatory Certifications: API 510 API 570 API 653
• Minimum 810 years of inspection experience in oil & gas / petrochemical projects
• Strong knowledge of in-service inspection corrosion assessment and integrity evaluation
