Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor Piping & Welding to support onshore construction projects. The role ensures the Project Quality Management System is implemented at site and that all construction activities comply with contractual requirements, standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• CSWIP 3.2 / 3.1 certification or equivalent.
• ASNT Level II in PT MT UT RT (or equivalent).
• BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Quality Management Systems).
• Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years implementing Project QMS at worksites.
• Strong knowledge of process piping fabrication and erection.
• Thorough understanding of materials including CS SS DSS and Inconel.
• Extensive experience in blasting and painting inspection/testing of AG/UG coating systems.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership coordination and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Client Lifesaving Rules and all DPE HSE requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Project QMS at site.
• Execute the Contract Quality Plan (CQP) as directed by the Project Quality Manager and monitor its effectiveness.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to TPI Inspectors and project team members.
• Review and approve Quality Plans Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Procedures.
• Monitor KPIs related to construction performance and discuss trends with the Project Quality Manager and Construction Manager.
• Provide quality performance input for project reports.
• Attend kick‑off meetings with Subcontractors and Vendors to ensure client quality expectations are clearly addressed.
• Participate in and/or lead internal and external audits on construction activities.
• Participate in failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and monitor databases of NCRs audits and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

Role Overview:
