Job summary

Orbit ISS is seeking a seasoned QC Inspector (Insulation) to ensure insulation works meet project specifications across Oil & Gas and Energy projects in the UAE. The role requires hands-on inspection of insulation materials, application methods, cladding and weatherproofing, with strict adherence to drawings, ITPs and technical standards.

You will report findings, coordinate with construction QC teams and clients, prepare inspection reports, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 35 years QC experience in insulation (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical preferred).
• Strong understanding of insulation materials (Mineral Wool PIR Foam Glass etc.).
• Ability to read drawings isometrics and technical documents.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect insulation materials, application methods, cladding and weatherproofing.
• Verify compliance with drawings, ITPs and technical specifications.
• Monitor insulation for piping, equipment, tanks and HVAC ducting.
• Identify and report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
