Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and applicable mechanical standards to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and implement Quality Control Plans, Inspection Test Plans, and mechanical method statements.
• Conduct inspections for installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and LPG systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third‑party inspectors for approvals and inspection activities.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to project quality requirements and raise non‑conformance reports when needed.
• Verify materials and mechanical equipment delivered to site are as per approved material submittals.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and test records.
• Follow up on non‑conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed.
• Support final handover activities by preparing QA/QC dossiers and as‑built documentation.
• Ensure all inspections and testing activities comply with HSE regulations.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of international mechanical standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and IPC.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with consultants and clients.
• Ability to prepare QA/QC documentation independently.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
