Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is seeking a qualified professional to implement and monitor project quality assurance and quality control plans in Sharjah, UAE. You will prepare and establish project Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans while coordinating with site teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in QA QC processes, strong coordination skills, and the capability to train staff on quality standards. This is a critical role for maintaining project integrity.

• Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan.
• Setting-up, establishing, and monitoring all project QA QC.
• Reviewing Method Statements and preparing Inspection Test Plans.
• Planning and allocating various QA QC activities to team members.

Job description

• Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan
• Setting-up establishing and monitoring all project QA QC
• Implementing project procedures and PQP on approval by the Client
• Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection amp Test Plans and checklists forms and obtaining approval from Client as required
• Planning and allocating various QA QC activities to team members
• Orientating training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements
• Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP
• Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP
• Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment
• Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals
• Inspecting and testing incoming materials and activities workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records
• Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs)
• Coordinating inspections and tests per the approved ITP with the Clients and obtaining clearances
• Obtaining permits
