Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC in Dubai invites applications for a QA/QC Lead role. The position requires 5–10 years of experience in project QA/QC with a Diploma in Civil Engineering, and entails managing PQP, ITPs, and client approvals on site in Dubai.

Candidate will oversee QA/QC activities, train personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with PQP and ITP requirements.

Qualifications

• QA/QC plan development and implementation.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and RFI processes.
• Quality assurance procedures and client approvals.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan.
• Setting-up/establishing and monitoring all project QA/QC
• Implementing project procedures and PQP, on approval by the Client
• Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and checklists/forms and obtaining approval from Client, as required
• Planning and allocating various QA/QC activities to team members
• Orientating/training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements
• Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP
• Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP
• Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment
• Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals
• Inspecting and testing incoming materials, activities/workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records
• Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs)
• Coordinating inspections and tests, per the approved ITP, with the Clients and obtaining clearances
