Job summary

J and D Gulf Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support ADNOC Distribution projects, ensuring conformity with project specifications and contract requirements. You will review submittals, coordinate inspections, and produce QA/QC deliverables such as Method Statements, ITPs, MIRs, and WIRs.

Additionally, you will manage material storage, ensure Green Building compliance, liaise with testing labs, coordinate with subcontractors, and prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC

Qualifications

• Must have Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience with ADNOC Distribution projects is preferred.
• Willingness to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work aligns with project specifications and contract requirements.
• Review project technical submittals (materials, samples, shop drawings) before consultant submission.
• Coordinate internal inspections with project execution team and address findings prior to consultant inspection/authorities.
• Prepare QA/QC deliverables: Method Statements, ITPs, MIRs, WIRs per employer/consultant protocol.
• Conduct joint inspections with consultants and obtain MIR/WIR and MEP clearances.
• Ensure materials storage complies with manufacturer requirements.
• Verify compliance with Green Building requirements by authorities for materials.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories for timely sampling and test results.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure scope alignment with project needs.
• Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.
• Maintain submittal trackers with project document controller; readiness to join immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure that work is being carried out as per project specification and contract requirement

2. Review project technical submittals (Material / Samples/Shop Drawings) for correctness prior to formal submission to the consultant

3. To carry out internal inspection in coordination with the project execution team to ensure that internal inspection findings are addressed prior to offer for Consultants Inspection/ Authorities.

4. Generate relevant project quality deliverables – Method Statement, ITP, Material Inspection Request & Work Inspection Request in line with the protocol set by the employer / consultant.

5. Carry out joint inspection with the consultant and obtain approvals of MIR, WIR and MEP clearances.

6. Ensure that materials are being stored as per the specific requirement set by manufacturer

7. Ensure that Project Green Building Requirements as set by authorities for various constituent materials are complied with

8. Liaison with the testing laboratories for the timely sampling of materials and delivery of test resultant as per the frequency of tests

9. Liaison with the subcontractor’s onboard and ensure that the sub-contractor’s scope of work is in line with the project requirement

10. Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC Reports

11. Liaise with project document controller to ensure that all submittal trackers are updated on regular intervals Preferred candidate is ready to join immediately
