Job summary

Hydropower Energy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified QA/QC Civil Engineer for a site-based, full-time role on a fast-track ADNOC brownfield project in Ruwais.

With 3–5 years of civil construction QA/QC experience, you will inspect earthworks, roadworks, culverts, and concrete works, manage inspection records, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and ITPs. A UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of civil construction QA QC experience.
• Familiarity with ADNOC quality procedures, inspection workflows and electronic document or portal submissions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ROW preparation, excavation, trench formation, backfilling, grading, compaction, access roads, berms and culverts.
• Raise and coordinate requests for inspection and ensure required hold, witness and surveillance points are respected.
• Verify approved materials, source approvals, delivery records, calibration certificates and test results before acceptance.
• Witness field density, moisture, concrete, survey and other specified tests and maintain traceable inspection records.
• Check line, level, dimensions, formation, layer thickness, compaction and workmanship against approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify nonconforming work, monitor corrective action and verify closeout.
• Coordinate inspections with the client, consultant, laboratory, survey and construction teams without delaying the fast-track programme.
• Compile daily quality records, marked up drawings, photographs and handover dossiers.
• Support upload, tracking and closeout of quality documents through the ADNOC project portal or document management system.
• Ensure only current approved drawings, method statements and ITPs are used at site.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Role Purpose

Carries out field inspections and verifies that civil works,materials and records comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs andADNOC project requirements.

Project Context

Site based role for a fast track ADNOC brownfield project inRuwais involving bulk civil works, including right of way preparation,excavation and trenching, access road preparation, berm construction, gradingand compaction, and associated culvert works.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineeringor a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of civil construction QA QCexperience, including previous ADNOC brownfield experience.
• Practical knowledge of earthworks, roadworks,culverts, concrete works and relevant material testing.
• Familiarity with ADNOC quality procedures,inspection workflows and electronic document or portal submissions.
• Relevant QA QC certification is an advantage;valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Employment Conditions

• Full-time site assignment in Ruwais for theduration of the project.
• Must be able to work within a fast-trackprogramme, extended site hours and shift arrangements when required.
• Deployment is subject to client approval, validcompetency records, medical fitness, site induction and access requirements.
