Job summary

ARCO TURNKEY SOLUTIONS CONTRACTING LLC is seeking a QA/QC Engineer in Dubai to ensure the quality of civil works on construction projects. The role involves implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and preparing documentation to maintain quality standards.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of QA/QC practices. Familiarity with ISO standards and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is advantageous.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in interior Civil, Construction projects (commercial, residential, retail, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC practices, construction materials, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA QC procedures for all Civil works.
• Review project specifications, drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure that all site activities comply with quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans, ITPs, method statements and checklists.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and verify corrective preventive actions.
• Liaise with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors and consultants for quality-related matters.
• Monitor material deliveries and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct pre-handover snagging and prepare final quality documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, quality reports and documentation.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures related to quality activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in interior Civil, Construction projects (commercial, residential, retail, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC practices, construction materials, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
