Egis Group is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for our Dubai team to oversee structural steel and bridge projects. You will ensure compliance with specifications, conduct inspections, and manage QC documentation while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires a BE in Mechanical Engineering with 4–8 years of QA/QC experience in structural steel bridges, plus relevant certifications and a UAE driving license. Full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
4–8 years of QA/QC experience in structural steel works, especially bridge projects.
Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, NACE, BGAS, FROCIO are preferred.
UAE experience is preferred and a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Own car and UAE driving license required.
Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, AISC, ASTM, and EN standards.
Proficient in ITPs, method statements and material submittals.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain the project QA/QC system per company and client requirements.
Review and interpret project specs drawings and standards for structural steel works.
Conduct inspections and tests on materials structures and on-site installations.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including reports NCRs and actions.
Coordinate with project teams clients and inspectors to ensure quality control processes.
Monitor welding bolting and coating activities for code compliance.
Ensure calibration of inspection equipment and provide guidance to site teams.
Participate in audits and close findings timely.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer Structural Steel to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bridge projects and a solid background in structural steel fabrication erection and inspection. A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the projects Quality Management System in compliance with company client and regulatory requirements.
Review interpret and ensure compliance with project specifications drawings and relevant standards for structural steel works.
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials fabricated steel structures and on-site installations.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports test records NCRs and corrective actions.
Coordinate with project teams clients and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth quality control processes.
Monitor welding bolting and coating activities to ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards.
Ensure proper calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE).
4 8 years of experience in QA/QC for structural steel works specifically in bridge projects.
Preferred certifications: CSWIP 3.1 AWS CWI NACE BGAS FROCIO.
UAE experience preferred.
Own car and valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of relevant international standards (AWS D1.1 AISC ASTM BS EN ISO).
Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs method statements and material submittals.
