Bureau Veritas is seeking personnel to support field operations with a strong focus on environmental protection and personal safety on site in Abu Dhabi. The role includes following established PWHT procedures, ensuring proper use of safety devices and tools, and actively participating in toolbox talks and client-aligned reporting.

You will read charts, verify joint details, and perform inspections per project scope.

Responsabilidades

• Take all precautions to protect the environment.
• Work to ensure self-safety and co-workers' safety.
• Participate in training programs as required by management.
• Attend daily toolbox talks and follow site coordinators’/crew leaders’ instructions.
• Use and maintain all safety devices provided for job execution; select the right tools for the job.
• Report to work with appropriate clothing and avoid hazards from clothes/jewelry.
• Perform work safely and be aware of unseen dangers.
• Do not sacrifice safety for duties.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform PWHT in liaison with approved procedures.
• Identify heating element gauge requirements, placement and number of thermocouples as per procedures.
• Identify heating, soaking, and insulation band requirements per procedures.
• Set recorder with chart speed and make required connections.
• Be aware of heating, soaking, cooling rates and control system requirements per procedures.
• Demonstrate as per project procedures and read PWHT charts and reporting requirements.
• Verify joint details as per client requests.
• Carry out inspection activities per project scope and site conditions to avoid delays and resource wastage.

• To take all precautions to protect the environment.
• Work in such manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-worker’s safety in well covered with.
• Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by the management.
• Shall participate in the daily toolbox talks and follow the instruction from the site coordinators/crew leaders.
• Use and maintain all safety devices provided for executions of job as delegated.
• Maintain and properly use all tools under their control & to use right tools for the Job.
• Report for work in clothing suitable for work, and in such a manner that clothes, and jewelry worn will not constitute a hazard.
• Perform the work in a safe and alert manner and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
• Are not expected to sacrifice their own or other’s Safety to perform their duties.
• Keep clean work Area & maintain Housekeeping.
• Perform PWHT using liase with approved procedural requirements.
• Able to identify the requirement of Heating elements Gauge and placement, placement and No. of Thermo couples as per the approved procedure.
• Able to identify the requirements of heating band, soaking band and insulation band width as per the approved procedure.
• Able to set the recorder with chart speed requirements and all required connections.
• Shall be aware of rate of heating, soaking and rate of cooling requirements with control system requirements as per the approved procedure.
• Able to perform necessary demonstrations as per the project specific approved procedures.
• Shall be able to read the PWHT Charts and reporting requirements as per approved procedure.
• Shall verify the joint details as per the request provided by client.
• Able to perform the inspection activities as per project scope and site condition to avoid waiting & wastage of resources.
