Job summary

Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Tool Operator to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis. You will set up, operate, and maintain extrusion machines to ensure high-quality plastic products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain extrusion machines according to company standards and production specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to prevent downtime and minimize defects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Record production data and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Continuously strive to improve production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
