Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai is seeking an experienced Purchase Officer with expertise in manufacturing, automotive, steel, or HVAC industries. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring stock levels, and preparing procurement reports. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation skills and relevant experience in the industry.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience as a Purchase/Procurement Officer.
• Mandatory experience in Manufacturing / Automotive / Steel / HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of technical materials (steel, mechanical components, HVAC parts, etc.).
• Ability to join immediately or within short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, spare parts, equipment, and consumables.
• Source suppliers for steel, automotive components, HVAC materials, electrical and mechanical items.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare LPOs and ensure timely follow-up with vendors.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and project teams to understand material requirements.
• Maintain supplier database and develop new vendor relationships.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store/warehouse team.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.
• Handle import purchases (if applicable) and coordinate with logistics team.
• Prepare procurement reports and cost comparison statements.
