Role Context

Key Responsibilities

• Handle purchase activities for fire alarm, fire fighting, and safety system materials.
• Source materials, equipment, fittings, and components required for fire and safety projects.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and timely procurement to avoid material shortages.
• Prepare Local Purchase Orders, quotations, vendor comparison sheets, and related procurement documents.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to support cost-effective and reliable sourcing.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and quality requirements with suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate with project teams and maintenance teams to understand material requirements and delivery priorities.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials are available according to project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier quotations, certifications, delivery notes, and inventory transactions.
• Verify material specifications, quality compliance, and certification requirements before procurement or acceptance.
• Support stock audits, material tracking, and inventory reconciliation when required.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company standards, approval processes, and fire and safety regulations.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, internal teams, stores, and accounts departments for smooth purchasing operations.
• Use MS Office, ERP systems, or inventory tools to maintain accurate procurement and stock records.

Ideal Profile
