Job summary

Adecco Group is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the UAE to manage government-related processes and ensure full compliance with labor, immigration, and regulatory requirements. You will act as the main liaison with MoHRE, GDRFA, ICP and Free Zones, handling visas, permits, licensing and corporate documentation.

The role requires 8+ years as a PRO, strong UAE regulatory knowledge, and bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, HR, public administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a PRO in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures and regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between the company and UAE government entities (MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Free Zone Authorities, municipalities).
• Process employment visas, work permits, residency permits, renewals and cancellations.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding related to immigration and labor approvals.
• Manage labor contracts, work permits and related applications; handle inquiries and inspections.
• Coordinate notarization, attestation, legalization and translation of official documents.
• Provide guidance to employees regarding visa, residency and governmental procedures.
• Maintain records of submissions, approvals, renewals and transactions.

Adecco is looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) responsible for managing all government-related processes and ensuring full compliance with UAE labor, immigration, and regulatory requirements. The role serves as the main liaison between the company and government authorities, facilitating visa processing, labor approvals, licensing, and other official documentation while ensuring timely execution and adherence to statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations & Compliance

Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and UAE government entities, including:

• Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE)
• General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA)
• Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP)
• Free Zone Authorities
• Municipalities and other regulatory bodies
• Ensure company compliance with applicable UAE labor, immigration, and corporate regulations.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and advise management on relevant updates.

Visa & Immigration Management

• Process employment visas, work permits, residency permits, visa renewals, cancellations, and status amendments.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding requirements related to immigration and labor approvals.
• Track visa expiry dates and initiate renewals proactively.
• Manage dependent visas and related documentation where applicable.

Labor & Employment Administration

• Submit and process labor contracts, work permits, and employment-related applications.
• Coordinate with HR regarding employee records and required documentation.
• Handle labor complaints, inspections, and government inquiries when required.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all employee-related government transactions.

Corporate Documentation & Licensing

• Manage trade license renewals, amendments, and related corporate registrations.
• Process company-related permits, approvals, and certificates.
• Maintain records of company legal and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate notarization, attestation, legalization, and translation of official documents.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with government authorities and external service providers.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely completion of government-related transactions.
• Provide guidance to employees regarding visa, residency, and governmental procedures.

Reporting & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of all submissions, approvals, renewals, and transactions.
• Prepare reports on visa status, upcoming renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and company information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a PRO in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.
