Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, seeks a dedicated Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all public spaces within the property.

This role covers lobbies, corridors, restrooms and other shared areas, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff, while supporting safety and sustainability initiatives. Prior experience in hospitality is preferred, and physical stamina to stand, lift and perform repetitive cleaning tasks is important.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role in hospitality is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Provide excellent guest service by answering inquiries and guiding guests.
• Maintain restroom hygiene and replenish toiletries.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and furniture.
• Empty trash and manage waste according to policies.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces.
• Monitor supplies and report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety procedures and hotel protocols.
• Assist in event setup and cleaning of public areas.
• Support sustainability initiatives in cleaning practices.

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all public spaces within the property This role is essential in ensuring that all lobbies corridors restrooms and other shared areas are impeccably maintained to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for guests and staff The Public Area Attendant plays a key role in upholding the hotel s cleanliness standards and enhancing the overall guest experience

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Maintenance Ensure all public areas including lobbies hallways elevators restrooms and outdoor spaces are cleaned sanitized and well-maintained at all times
• Guest Service Provide excellent service to guests by assisting with directions answering basic inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in public spaces
• Restroom Upkeep Regularly check and clean restrooms ensuring toiletries and supplies are replenished and the area is kept hygienic
• Floor and Surface Care Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors furniture and fixtures to maintain high cleanliness standards
• Trash Management Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste disposal follows the hotel s hygiene and environmental policies
• Deep Cleaning Conduct scheduled deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets polishing floors and cleaning high-touch surfaces
• Inventory Control Monitor and report the need for cleaning supplies equipment and any maintenance issues in public areas
• Lost and Found Follow hotel protocols for handling lost and found items discovered in public spaces
• Safety and Security Identify and report any potential safety hazards spills or maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Event Support Assist in setting up and cleaning public areas before and after events or special occasions
• Sustainability and Waste Management Follow eco-friendly cleaning practices reduce waste and support the hotel s sustainability initiatives

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
