Sofitel Dubai Downtown, part of Accor, is seeking a diligent Public Areas Attendant to join our luxury hotel team. You will keep lobbies, entrances, and back-of-house spaces spotless, ensuring guests enjoy a pristine environment.

The role emphasizes thorough cleaning, floor care, waste management, and cooperation with hotel operations to maintain the renowned Dubai experience. Experience in hospitality cleaning is preferred; strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or public areas cleaning.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, polish and deep clean all public areas (lobbies, entrances, hallways, stairwells, offices).
• Sanitize and restock guest public restrooms throughout the day.
• Maintain floor care including carpet shampooing, marble/tile polishing, waxing and buffing.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, windows, fixtures to a spotless finish.
• Empty trash and recycling across public/back-of-house areas with proper waste segregation.
• Ensure outdoor guest areas are clean and well maintained.

Job Description

High and low dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and deep cleaning all assigned public areas (lobbies, entrances, hallways, stairwells, and offices).

Clean, sanitize, and restock guest public restrooms throughout the day, ensuring consistent cleanliness and scent management.

Maintain floor care including carpet shampooing, marble/tile polishing, waxing, and buffing using specialized floor care machinery.

Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, windows, brass, chrome, and wooden fixtures to a spotless finish.

Empty trash cans and recycling bins across public and back-of-house areas, ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling segregation.

Ensure outdoor guest areas (entrance drop-off areas, patios, pool decks, terraces) are free of litter and maintained to hotel standards.
