Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Protection Relay Programming & Testing Engineer with 7–12 years of experience to design, test, and commission relay-based protection for MV and LV systems. You will work on protection schemes, relay coordination, and field validation across industrial protection architectures.

The role involves FAT/SAT, site testing, and collaboration with control panels and relay racks. Strong knowledge of ABB, Siemens, and Schneider relays is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–12 years of protection relay programming, testing, commissioning experience.
• Experience with MV switchgear, control and relay panels, and protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, test, and commission protection relays for MV/LV systems.
• Verify relay settings against protection coordination studies.
• Prepare relay setting files, test procedures, and commissioning reports.
• Perform FAT/SAT and field testing of protection systems.
• Interpret SLDs and protection schematics; manage documentation.
