Job summary

Bilfinger Middle East is seeking an experienced Protection & Relay Specialist to support relay testing, configuration, fault analysis, and protection system reliability across refinery substations. You will perform testing on ABB, Siemens, GE, and MiCOM relays and contribute to incident investigations and system improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years in protection and relay systems, plus strong experience with PCM600, DIGSI, EnerVista, and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in power system protection and relays (15+ years).
• Strong familiarity with relay software and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Protection relay testing (ABB, Siemens, GE, MiCOM) as per IEEE/OEM.
• Support electrical incident investigations & RCA.
• Manage relay backups, spares & obsolescence.
• Prepare technical reports & recommendations.
• Protection Schemes and Coordination.
• Fault Analysis & Short Circuit Studies.
• Power system protection & reliability.
