Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC, part of the Al-Futtaim Group, seeks an Insurance Executive for Property Underwriting in Dubai. You will support underwriting property risks, analyze risk submissions and prepare quotations, while coordinating with brokers and internal teams to ensure smooth service and compliant processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in insurance/risk management, 2–5 years in General Insurance (preferably Property Underwriting), and strong communication, analytical, and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance/risk management or similar discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Property Underwriting; UAE/region advantageous.
• Solid understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, Cert CII, or progress towards insurance certifications.
• Immediate posting.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Property risks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Review risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers and internal teams to service accounts.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring and renewal management initiatives.
