Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) in Dubai seeks an Insurance Executive Property Underwriting to join our Property Energy Underwriting Division. You will help assess and underwrite Property risks for a leading regional insurer.

The role reports to the VP Property Underwriting and involves preparing quotations, endorsements, and renewal terms, while coordinating with brokers, clients, reinsurers and internal teams to deliver seamless service. UAE experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance/risk management or similar discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Property Underwriting.
• UAE or regional experience will be an advantage.
• Sound understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, Cert CII, or progress towards insurance certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting Property risks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Review and analyze risk submissions underwriting information surveys and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations endorsements and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers clients reinsurers and internal departments to ensure smooth servicing of accounts.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring renewal management initiatives.
