Job summary

Al-Futtaim's Orient Insurance PJSC in Dubai is seeking an Insurance Executive - Property Underwriting to join the Property & Energy Underwriting Division. You will evaluate property risks and prepare quotations, endorsements and renewal terms.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in insurance or risk management, 2-5 years in General Insurance, and strong communication and negotiation skills; ACII progress is a plus. Immediate posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance/risk management or similar discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably Property Underwriting in UAE or region.
• Sound understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• ACII, Cert CII or progress towards insurance certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite property risks per company guidelines.
• Review risk submissions, surveys, and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers and internal teams to service accounts.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring and renewal management initiatives.
