Job summary

Al-Futtaim is hiring an Insurance Executive – Property Underwriting in Dubai to strengthen the Property & Energy Underwriting Division. You will report to the VP – Property Underwriting and work on underwriting property risks and preparing quotations, endorsements and renewals.

The role requires 2–5 years in General Insurance, preferably Property Underwriting, with a Bachelor's in insurance or risk management; ACII/Cert CII progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management or similar.
• ACII / Cert CII or progress towards certifications is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting Property risks per guidelines.
• Review risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys, and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements, and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal teams for servicing.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Insurance Executive – Property Underwriting to join our Property & Energy Underwriting Division in Dubai. Reporting to: VP – Property Underwriting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in underwriting Property risks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Review and analyze risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys, and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements, and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal departments to ensure smooth servicing of accounts.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Experience Required:

• 2-5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Property Underwriting.
• UAE or regional experience will be an advantage.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance/risk management, or similar discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, Cert CII, or progress towards insurance certifications will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:

• Sound understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
