Job summary

Leading UAE Water & Sewage Infrastructure Contractor in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee STP and pumping station projects on EPC/DB contracts. The role involves coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning up to handover, with a focus on safety, schedule, budget and quality.

Ideal candidate holds a BSc in an engineering discipline and has 15+ years of construction experience, including 10+ years in STP projects, ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years' total experience in construction and project management, including at least 10 years' experience on sewage treatment plant (STP) and sewage pumping station projects.
• Proven experience managing major STP and sewage pumping station projects under EPC / Design & Build contracts.
• Strong experience across engineering and design coordination, procurement, subcontractor management and construction delivery.
• Practical knowledge of commercial and contractual management, client and consultant coordination, testing and commissioning.
• Previous experience managing a complete STP or major sewage pumping station project through construction, commissioning, performance testing and final handover is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities, technical submissions, material procurement and subcontractor appointments to support project delivery.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of sewage treatment plant (STP) and sewage pumping station projects in Abu Dhabi.Position Overview:This position involves managing major sewage treatment plant and pumping station projects, with a particular focus on EPC / Design & Build contracts. The Project Manager will take responsibility for coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities through to final project handover.Working closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, clients and consultants, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required technical and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of STP and sewage pumping station projects, managing all stages from engineering and design coordination through construction, commissioning and final handover.
