Job summary

Euro Mechanical in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead offshore EPC projects from start to finish. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and run multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and construction to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires 12-15 years in oil and gas brownfield/greenfield with EPC contractors, a track record managing large EPC programs, and strong cost, scheduling and risk management skills; PMP

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 12-15 years of oil and gas brownfield/greenfield EPC experience.
• Proven track record managing large EPC projects in oil and gas.
• Strong cost control, scheduling, risk management and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full EPC project lifecycle from planning to close-out.
• Take full accountability for project financials including P&L, cost control, and forecasting.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, risk, change and scope control; report to management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and interfaces between Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Automation.
• Support preconstruction, estimating and proposal development for new and existing opportunities.
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims and disputes.
• Build relationships with client representatives, regulators, vendors and stakeholders.
• Track project performance through KPIs and apply lessons learned to future projects.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and regulatory standards.

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead oil and gas offshore EPC projects from start to finish. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and run multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and construction. Your job will be to deliver every project safely, on time, within budget, and to the standard our clients expect.

What you will do

• Lead the full EPC project lifecycle, from planning and mobilisation through to close-out
• Take full accountability for project financials, including profit and loss, cost control and forecasting
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, risk, change and scope control, and report regularly to management
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage the interfaces between Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Automation
• Support preconstruction, estimating and proposal development for new and existing opportunities
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims and disputes
• Build strong relationships with client representatives, regulatory authorities, vendors and third-party stakeholders
• Track project performance through KPIs and make sure lessons learnt are applied to future projects
• Make sure all work meets HSE, quality and regulatory standards
• Mentor and develop project engineers and junior project management professionals

What you will bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification
• 12-15 years of experience on oil and gas brownfield and greenfield facilities with EPC contractors
• A proven track record of managing large EPC projects in the oil and gas sector
• Strong skills in cost control, scheduling, risk management and quality systems
• Solid knowledge of contract and stakeholder management
• Experience building and leading large cross-discipline, multi-supplier project teams
• Good knowledge of local contracting standards and international safety and regulatory requirements
• A PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Arabic language skills are desirable
