Confidential is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead LPG gas infrastructure projects across the UAE. You will drive planning, execution, and handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with authorities to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires 8–15 years in LPG/oil & gas, a relevant engineering degree, and strong knowledge of UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 8–15 years LPG/oil & gas experience.
• PMP certification preferred; NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent.
• Valid UAE driving license required.
• Experience with LPG installations for various sectors.
• Knowledge of UAE Civil Defence, fire life safety codes and standards.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex LPG gas infrastructure projects across the UAE. In this key role, you will be the driving force behind projects from conception to handover, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest engineering standards.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary liaison with government authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the oil & gas sector to take ownership of high-impact projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery within approved scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage project budgets, CAPEX, cost forecasts, and cash flow to meet financial targets and improve profitability.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing, and handover.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Coordinate engineering design, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications with the engineering team.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure safe, high-quality construction that meets project timelines.
• Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Liaise with Civil Defence, Municipality, ADNOC, MOIAT, and other regulatory authorities to secure timely statutory approvals and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Commercial & Administrative Control

• Manage project variations, claims, and contractual correspondence to control commercial exposure.
• Ensure complete project documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals, for a smooth handover.
• Prepare and present progress reports, management dashboards, and project status updates to facilitate management decision-making.

Health, Safety & Quality (HSEQ)

• Ensure HSE compliance throughout the project lifecycle, championing a strong safety culture to achieve Zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI).
• Uphold the highest quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-15 years of experience in LPG gas projects or the broader oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience managing LPG installations for residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. Must demonstrate success in delivering multiple projects simultaneously while achieving safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred. NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is also preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is required.
• LPG Gas Distribution Systems, Storage Tank Installations, Central Gas Systems, and Pressure Regulating Systems.
• Engineering Design Coordination, Project Planning & Scheduling, Cost Estimation & Budget Control, CAPEX & OPEX Management.
• Procurement & Vendor Management, Risk Management, Construction Management, Testing & Commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE Civil Defence approval processes, UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes, and relevant engineering standards.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
