Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy in the UAE seeks an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead Oil & Gas EPC projects from planning through handover, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors, and report progress to clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
• Experience leading Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery and execution of Oil & Gas EPC projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and other project activities.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks/delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure delivery per scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE, and contracts.
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, teams and senior management.
• Review performance metrics such as cost, schedule and KPIs.
• Support contract administration, variation management, claims, and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and UAE regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to management and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Ensure proper closeout, documentation, commissioning, and handover.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. The role will oversee project delivery from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong Project Management experience in the Oil & Gas sector and a proven EPC background.

• Lead the overall delivery and execution of Oil & Gas EPC projects from project initiation through completion and handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate and oversee Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and other project activities.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, project teams, and senior management.
• Review project performance, including cost, schedule, resources, and key performance indicators.
• Support contract administration, variation management, claims, and commercial matters as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Oil & Gas industry standards, company procedures, and UAE regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports and updates to management and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, efficiency, and overall project performance.
• Ensure proper project closeout, documentation, commissioning, and handover.

• Proven experience in Project Management / Project Delivery within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience working on EPC projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and project execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced and challenging EPC environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are an advantage.
• UAE / GCC project experience is an advantage.
