Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Gas Technician specializing in LPG systems to join our project execution team in the UAE. You will install, test, commission and handover LPG distribution systems across residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments, following plans, drawings, budgets, and regulations.

The role requires 5 years LPG project experience, a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, UAE Civil Defence knowledge, and a UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of LPG gas project experience in oil & gas.
• Knowledge of UAE Civil Defence approvals and regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute project activities per plans, schedules, and resources.
• Provide regular progress updates to maintain momentum.
• Maintain project documentation including as-built drawings & O&M manuals.
• Support timely reporting to management for decisions.
• Assist in project handover and ensure operational readiness.
• Deliver projects within approved cost forecasts and cash flow targets.
• Follow engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specs precisely.
• Align with site teams to implement the project execution plan.
• Comply with all instructions and HSE requirements throughout.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of LPG gas distribution systems across residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. This role requires strict adherence to project plans, engineering drawings, budgets, and UAE regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute project activities as per plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Support timely reporting to management for informed decision-making.
• Assist in project handover, ensuring operational readiness and proper documentation.
• Deliver projects within approved cost forecasts and cash flow targets.
• Follow engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications precisely.
• Align with site teams to implement the project execution plan.
• Comply with all project instructions and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with Civil Defence, Municipality, ADNOC, MOIAT, consultants, and other regulatory authorities to obtain timely statutory approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in LPG gas projects within the oil & gas sector.
• Proven track record in LPG installations for residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments, achieving safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE Civil Defence approval processes, LPG regulations, and engineering standards.
• Valid UAE Driving License is required.
