Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA seeks an experienced architect-turned-project-manager to oversee hospitality developments, renovations, and fit-out projects across the Middle East & Africa. You will coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and hotel owners to deliver on time, within budget, and to Millennium brand standards.

You will monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables while reviewing drawings and technical submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in project management, architecture, or hospitality development.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes and project delivery.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospitality development and renovation projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and hotel owners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall progress.
• Review architectural drawings, technical submissions, material specifications, and shop drawings.
• Identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects comply with local regulations, building codes, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts brand standards.
• Lead project coordination meetings and prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality, progress, and compliance.
• Coordinate design changes, value engineering proposals, and technical solutions.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical proposals and consultant/contractor submissions.
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
• Practical experience with RFP preparation, tendering, bidding, and quotation evaluation.
• Understanding of scopes of work, technical specifications, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial clarifications.

• Experience using BIM workflows and digital collaboration platforms.

PMP certification or working toward PMP is an advantage
