Project Manager – Dubai, UAE

To support our Team we are looking for Project Manager Dubai UAE. We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our SYST Division to lead the execution of complex reciprocating compressors across the Middle East Region. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing international stakeholders balancing technical and commercial priorities and ensuring successful project delivery from contract award through commissioning and final handover.

Your tasks will be the following

• Lead the complete execution of reciprocating compressor package projects from order intake to final handover to the client
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements technical specifications schedule commitments quality standards and financial targets
• Develop and maintain project execution plans schedules budgets and resource plans
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution
• Lead project review meetings progress updates and contractual discussions with clients
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams located across multiple countries and time zones
• Manage interfaces between engineering centers manufacturing facilities procurement organizations quality teams logistics providers and field service personnel
• Ensure effective collaboration between all stakeholders and eliminate execution bottlenecks
• Manage project scope variations claims and contractual obligations
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks throughout the execution phase
• Protect project profitability through effective commercial management and change control
• Support invoicing milestones cash collection and financial forecasting activities
• Oversee procurement activities and supplier performance for critical equipment and services
• Monitor manufacturing progress at internal and external facilities
• Coordinate inspections quality control activities factory acceptance tests and shipment readiness
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards customer specifications and applicable industry requirements
• Drive a culture of safety quality accountability and continuous improvement across the project team

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, or similar education.
• At least 3 years' experience in similar business.
• In addition, MBA or PMP certification would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment andor related process would be beneficial.
• Fluent in English.
• Business fluent, contractual level, in English orally and in writing.
• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally, to support business operations, project execution, and customer requirements.
• Able to make himself familiar with the application- oriented tasks self-employed, incl. study of relevant literature and theoretical studies.
