Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the replacement of 14 elevators across pedestrian bridges. You will deliver the project safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting client specifications and UAE regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years PM experience (5+ years in elevator/infra in the UAE), and PMP certification plus UAE driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years on elevator installation/replacement or similar infra projects in the UAE.
• PMP certification and UAE driving license are preferred.
• Experience with RTA or other government infra projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the replacement of 14 elevators at pedestrian bridges across Dubai.
• Manage mobilization to final handover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule, cost, risks, and progress; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the replacement of 14 elevators at pedestrian bridges across various locations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the project from mobilization to final handover.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all site activities, resources, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and contract obligations.
• Coordinate with the Client, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedule, cost, risks, and progress, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and successful project handover.
• Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including 5 years managing elevator installation/replacement or similar infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Experience with RTA or other government infrastructure projects is an advantage.
