Archirodon Construction (Overseas) Company limited is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 20 years of relevant experience, including a strong background in managing Oil & Gas projects.
The role involves leading a team, managing construction activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Previous ADNOC project experience is a plus.
Lead an established team of Area Construction Managers, Section Heads, and Engineers to secure the completion of the project within time and budget.
Manage direct multi-faceted construction activities, including subcontractors and personnel.
Ensure all construction activities are performed safely and in compliance with applicable policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction for construction and completions activities.
Provide Construction support to Project Management during the initial planning phase of the project.
Participate in Constructability and 3D model review sessions.
Build and manage effective Construction teams.
Ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and drawings within budget and time schedules.
Maintain effective communication and report the status of construction progress to the project team.
Manage the RFI and change order process in the field.
Assist with the preparation of change orders.
Maintain excellent project records and documentation of delays and other potential project impacts.
Maintain detailed, accurate and complete documentation of construction activities.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Master's Degree (Optional but Beneficial).
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) / Project Management Professional (PMP).
Relevance of experience in Piping works, Lifting activities, Rotating & Static Equipment Installation and strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations (Brown Field).
Handle not only Mechanical activities; experience in supervision for all disciplines is a must.
Minimum of 20 Years of experience with at least 10 years in a managerial role with a focus in the Oil & Gas Projects in the Middle East.
Having previous experience with ADNOC projects (ADNOC approval is advantage).
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
