Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai invites applications for a Project Engineer to supervise and inspect all mechanical installations on-site, including HVAC, chilled water, fire suppression, plumbing, drainage and BMS, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and UAE regulations.

The candidate will inspect and witness testing, coordinate with contractors and consultants, review submittals, and maintain reporting standards for quality and safety on the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical inspection/supervision.
• Background with consultant or supervision firms in the UAE.
• Proven experience on high-rise towers and residential building projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, fire suppression, plumbing, drainage and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems on site at various construction stages.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements and local authority regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify non-conformances, prepare inspection reports, and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and inspection requests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare periodic progress and quality reports.
