Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-rise tower construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, has 15+ years in construction, with at least 5 years as PM on Dubai high-rise towers, and proven experience with consultant/supervision firms, FIDIC contracts and local authorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of high-rise construction projects, delivering within scope, budget, quality and schedule.
• Supervise Resident Engineers, Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams for effective execution.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, contracts and codes.
• Review project schedules, work programs, method statements, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety and compliance.
• Identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation measures.
• Chair progress meetings and report status to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA and other authorities.
• Oversee QA/QC, resolve NCRs and site observations.
• Monitor budgets, variations and contractual obligations with commercial teams.
• Lead snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of high-rise tower construction projects from planning through to completion. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working with a Consultant/Supervision firm in Dubai and possess extensive knowledge of UAE construction practices, project management methodologies, local authority regulations, and contractual requirements. The role requires overseeing project execution, supervising multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholder coordination, and ensuring that all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, contractual obligations, and project schedules while maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all phases of high-rise construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, quality, and schedule.

Supervise Resident Engineers, Project Engineers, Inspectors, and multidisciplinary supervision teams to ensure effective project execution.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

Review project schedules, work programs, method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical submissions.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, authorities, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.

Identify project risks, technical issues, and potential delays, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Chair project progress meetings and prepare project status reports for senior management and clients.

Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, and other relevant authority regulations.

Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes and ensure timely resolution of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and site observations.

Monitor project budgets, variations, claims, and contractual obligations in coordination with commercial and contract teams.

Ensure all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements are implemented and maintained throughout the project.

Lead snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry.

At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on high-rise tower construction projects in Dubai.

Mandatory experience working with a Consultant/Supervision firm.

Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction regulations, quality management systems, and project management best practices.

Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defense, RTA, and other relevant authority requirements.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
