Job summary

JAMS HR Solutions seeks an experienced Project Engineer for high-rise construction projects in the UAE. The role coordinates and monitors project execution, ensuring work aligns with drawings, schedules, quality, safety, and client specs.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree, have UAE experience on G+20 projects, and be proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office. You will liaise with authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Approved by Dubai Municipality.
• 10 years of UAE experience in high-rise construction.
• Proven experience on G+20 and above residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority approvals, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities from mobilization to project handover.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works on site.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Job Title: Project Engineer – High-Rise Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong expertise in high-rise building construction in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring project execution, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.

Project Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities from mobilization to project handover.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Site & Construction Management

• Supervise structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works on site.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved method statements and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.

Authority Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, ADDC, Trakhees, DDA, and other relevant authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications, and contractual requirements.

Cost & Contract Support

• Assist in reviewing BOQs, variation orders, and subcontractor work progress.
• Support project cost control by monitoring material usage and productivity.
• Coordinate with the commercial team for payment applications and project documentation.

Quality, Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure QA/QC procedures and HSE standards are implemented on site.
• Identify construction risks and report issues to the Project Manager.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation, site records, RFIs, inspections, and material approvals.
• Coordinate technical meetings and follow up on action items.

Qualifications & Experience
