Sharaf DG in Dubai is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee site activities, ensure schedules, budgets and quality meet client expectations while coordinating with subcontractors and maintaining documentation.

You will support safety plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years of experience are required along with IT skills and a UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Proficient with computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Software knowledge – MS Projects/ Primavera will be preferred.
• UAE Driving License + Vehicle.

Job Description

• Maintaining and monitoring project lists, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Managing site with sub-contractor
• Coordinate with the subcontractor on Daily/ weekly tasks.
• Daily site progress report monitoring and updating client
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Ensuring project deadlines are met
• Providing administrative support as needed.
• Undertaking project tasks as required.
• Developing project strategies.
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
• Schedule to be prepared and monitor the progress
• Client meeting and presenting project progress.
• Ensure all site activities comply with project safety plans and local safety regulations.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and report any hazards or unsafe practices.
• Make sure all workers wear proper PPE and always follow safe work procedures.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and toolbox talks with the team.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or safety concerns immediately and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with the safety officer to implement and maintain site-specific safety measures.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of lighting materials and equipment on site.
• Monitor installation work to ensure it meets project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and site walkthroughs to check workmanship.
• Review material deliveries to confirm they match approved samples and specifications.
• Identify and address any quality issues or defects promptly with the site team.
• Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, test reports, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their work meets the required quality benchmarks.
• Ensure final handover meets client expectations, and all punch-list items are closed out.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical or Eq.)
• Min 2 year experience
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Software Knowledge –MS Office, MS Projects/ Primavera will be preferred
• UAE Driving License + Vehicle
