Job summary

TMC Middle East, based in Dubai, seeks a Project Engineer to lead end-to-end engineering efforts on hardware and software systems for ITS, tolling, and transportation infra. You will drive architecture, design, and documentation using AutoCAD and related tools on site in the UAE.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years in project or systems engineering, and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project or systems engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation, MS Project or Visio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end engineering lifecycle of hardware and software products, including architecture and AutoCAD documentation.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects while ensuring codes, standards, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; provide progress reports to senior stakeholders.
• Review RFPs and contribute technical input to proposals ensuring compliance.

TMC Middle East is looking for a Project Engineer to join a permanent, full-time opportunity with a leading company based in Dubai. • Oversee the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of hardware and software products, including architecture, design, component selection, and AutoCAD-based civil and mechanical documentation.
• Lead planning, scheduling, and coordination across technical and management aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and review project submittals, shop drawings, and ITS engineering documentation, including conceptual, preliminary, and final designs.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments, providing regular progress reports to senior project stakeholders.
• Review RFP documents and contribute technical input to proposal responses, ensuring specifications and compliance criteria are comprehensively addressed.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project or systems engineering, preferably within ITS, tolling, or transportation infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with MicroStation, MS Project, or Visio is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, industrial-grade switches, servers, RFID, and fiber optics.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
