Job summary

PT ORNOVA INTEGRA SOLUSI in Dubai is seeking a Project Director to lead major projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, quality and stakeholder expectations.

You will drive planning, budgeting, procurement, risk management, and coordination with clients and senior management, while mentoring project teams to achieve excellence in safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (PM, engineering, construction, or business).
• Extensive experience in project management and senior leadership.
• Experience managing large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.

Role Description

The Project Director is responsible for leading major projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop project strategies, schedules, budgets, and delivery plans.
• Manage project scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, KPIs, milestones, and performance.
• Lead project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and teams.
• Coordinate with clients, senior management, and key stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, delays, and cost impacts.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, contracts, variations, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, materials, and resources.
• Manage project changes, claims, approvals, and contractual matters.
• Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, and management updates.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration across project teams.
• Ensure project quality, efficiency, and successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project management and senior leadership.
• Experience managing large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.

• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, or similar tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and industry standards is preferred.
