We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Project Director with a minimum of 20 years of expertise in the construction industry to join our esteemed organization. This leadership role is designed for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion. The Project Director will oversee multiple projects, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and compliance. This position demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities, communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, managing project budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage all phases of multiple high-value construction projects from initial planning and design through to completion. Provide overall leadership for project teams to ensure success at every stage.
- Strategic Planning & Execution :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure strict adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Proactively monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage diverse project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure effective communication and coordination between team members, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors. Ensure all parties are informed, satisfied, and aligned with project goals.

Requirements :
- Experience :
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in construction project management , with at least 10 years in a leadership role . Proven success managing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $10 million .
- Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering , Architecture , or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Leadership & Team Management :
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to influence, motivate, and guide diverse teams to achieve project goals and overcome challenges.
- Communication Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present project information, reports, and updates to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Construction Knowledge :
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, building codes , safety standards , and best practices . Proven experience overseeing projects in various construction sectors such as commercial , residential , and infrastructure .
- Project Management Software Proficiency :
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore , MS Project , Primavera P6 ) and budgeting / forecasting tools . Strong ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation :
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to anticipate potential issues and implement corrective actions quickly to ensure project success.
