Job summary

HKS in Dubai seeks a Project Designer to join our Commercial/Mixed-Use team. You will collaborate with senior designers, develop design concepts, and produce documentation across design development and construction drawings, while mentoring staff and advancing sustainable design strategies.

You will coordinate with consultants and clients, prepare schematic land and site planning visuals, and deliver presentations that communicate design intent clearly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• Typically 8+ years of experience.
• Architectural registration strongly preferred.
• Sustainability knowledge and integrated design experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers on conceptual designs and construction documents.
• Lead project design for assigned projects and guide team on design concepts.
• Set visions and goals with the team and client.
• Develop design solutions using industry-standard techniques to support client relationships.
• Review graphics, 3D renderings, and implementation documents to reflect design intent.
• Deliver design presentations to client user groups or public forums.

Responsible for delivering exceptional design and delivery for clients on time and on budget. Collaborates on the development of design throughout design development and construction drawings. Coordinates with design talent across the firm to elevate the quality of work overall.
