Job summary

Talent Specialist Limited (TSL) is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to lead the successful delivery of EPC projects in the UAE, from engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in Oil & Gas with 5+ years in a PM role delivering EPC projects, and strong knowledge of electrical systems, shutdowns, tie-ins, and live plant modifications, with Primavera P6/MS Project expertise and UAE/GCC exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 15+ years' experience in Oil & Gas.
• 5+ years' experience delivering EPC projects as Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of electrical EPC projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Oversee project schedules, progress reporting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Act as the primary interface with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and claims.

Job description

Our client is a leading EPC contractor operating in the UAE, delivering complex brownfield and upstream Oil & Gas projects for major operators such as ADNOC. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to lead the successful delivery of EPC projects from engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover.

This role is ideally suited to a project professional with extensive experience managing electrical scopes on brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie-ins, upgrades, and revamp projects within operating upstream Oil & Gas facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of electrical EPC projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Oversee project schedules, progress reporting, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
• Act as the primary interface with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and claims.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager position delivering EPC projects.
• Proven experience on brownfield upstream Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including substations, switchgear, transformers, power distribution, MCCs, and cable networks.
• Experience managing shutdowns, tie-ins, live plant modifications, and facility upgrades.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience is highly desirable.
