Job summary

VerityX Talent seeks an experienced Programme Director to provide strategic leadership for large-scale transformation programmes in the UAE. You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with objectives, budgets and timelines.

You will manage multi-workstream delivery, governance, and executive relationships, driving measurable business value and benefiting stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and overall accountability for large-scale programmes from initiation through to completion.
• Ensure programmes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee multiple projects, workstreams and delivery teams to ensure successful programme execution.
• Establish programme priorities, delivery milestones and performance objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, clients and key stakeholders.
• Act as the primary escalation point for strategic programme issues.
• Lead executive steering committees, governance meetings and programme reviews.
• Communicate programme progress, risks and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of large-scale, complex transformation programmes.

The Programme Director will be accountable for successful end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, timelines, quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-value, multi-workstream programmes, managing senior executive relationships, overseeing programme governance and driving successful business outcomes.

This is a senior leadership position requiring strong programme management expertise, commercial awareness, strategic thinking and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex organisational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Provide strategic direction and overall accountability for large-scale programmes from initiation through to completion.
• Ensure programmes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee multiple projects, workstreams and delivery teams to ensure successful programme execution.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, clients and key stakeholders.

Programme Governance & Risk Management

Financial & Commercial Management

• Manage programme budgets, financial performance and resource allocation.
• Oversee contractual commitments, commercial risks and change requests.
• Ensure effective financial controls, cost management and delivery against agreed outcomes.

Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and mentor Programme Managers, Project Managers and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Coordinate internal resources, external partners and third-party suppliers.
• Drive collaboration, accountability and high performance across programme teams.

Business Transformation & Outcomes
