Your role

As our Professional Medical Representative, you will deliver expected sales performance and beyond in your territories by conveying a strong value proposition for LEO brands to the assigned stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Securing Sales Success:
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets within your territory through existing and potential customers.
  • Implement a territory sales plan aligned with regional strategy and supervisor approval.
  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet objectives.
  • Introduce newly launched and key products to clients.
  1. Territory Planning:
  • Plan weekly and monthly work schedules with the sales team or manager.
  • Own your designated territory, strategize targeting healthcare professionals based on visiting cycles.
  • Manage the territory effectively by targeting clients, determining visit frequency, and delivering key messages.
  • Stay informed about market and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Develop a Territory Business Plan and request necessary resources.
  • Participate in promotional activities to increase product awareness.
  1. Customer Focus:
  • Deliver presentations to doctors, staff, nurses, and pharmacists in medical settings or local venues.
  • Deliver promotional messages within approved aids and action plans.
  • Organize conferences for medical staff.
  • Update customer segmentation and call records regularly.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with medical staff and administrative personnel.
  1. Reporting:
  • Submit daily coverage reports (CRM) and monthly reports, commenting on deviations and outlining corrective actions.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical studies or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in the UAE market is essential.
  • Dermatology experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of private and tender market challenges and opportunities.
