Job summary

Agthia Group PJSC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production lines, drive productivity, and meet daily and monthly targets while ensuring quality, safety and efficiency.

You will monitor line performance, wastage, costs and budgets, coordinating with QA and R&D to meet product quality and customer requirements. Strong leadership and GMP knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5-6 years of relevant functional experience is required.
• Knowledge of production activities, maintenance, health & safety, and quality control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage production/manufacturing lines and ensure optimum productivity.
• Achieve monthly target volumes and meet SKU-wise daily production plans.
• Monitor line performance, wastage, productivity, stock levels and cost efficiencies.
• Prepare inputs related to departmental/project budgets and manage overall financial performance of the Production function.
• Ensure regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for standards adoption.
• Coach, mentor and guide the team, conduct performance reviews and provide development support.

Job description

As a production supervisor you will supervise production and manufacturing lines to ensure optimum productivity, achieve daily production plans and monthly targets, and manage operations while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency. You will monitor line performance, wastage, equipment effectiveness, stock levels and costs, while coordinating with QA and R&D to ensure product quality and customer requirements are met. You will monitor budgets and actual costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards throughout the production process.

How Will You Make an Impact?

• Manage production/manufacturing lines and ensure optimum productivity levels at all times.
• Achieve monthly target volumes and meet SKU-wise daily production plans.
• Monitor line performance, wastage, productivity, stock levels and cost efficiencies.
• Prepare and present inputs related to departmental/ project budgets (resource requirements) and manage / control overall financial performance of the Production function by monitoring actual cost against budgets
• Ensure that all activities are monitored, and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards
• Coach, mentor and guide the team, conduct performance reviews and provide developmental support.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-6 years of relevant functional experience.
