Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor/Petroleum Engineer to oversee daily production operations, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency in line with standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in a supervising capacity. Strong focus on PTW, risk assessments, and coordination with maintenance and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7–10 years' Oil & Gas experience with at least 5 years in a Production Supervisor or Petroleum Engineer role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient activities in accordance with approved operational standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to achieve operational targets and continuity.
• Implement Permit to Work (PTW) systems and carry out risk assessments to ensure safe execution of all activities.
• Coordinate closely with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted operations.
• Supervise and monitor contractors and site personnel to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and scope requirements.
• Manage resources, manpower, materials, and inventory to ensure effective utilisation and availability.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE and operational management system requirements, while supporting team development and continuous improvement.
