Job summary

Finpower Aircon LLC in Dubai is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production activities for HVAC equipment manufacturing. You will lead a team, ensure production schedules are met, and implement quality standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities for AHU, FCU, and HVAC equipment manufacturing.

Ensure production schedules are achieved while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Manage fabrication, insulation, powder coating, assembly, wiring, testing, and final dispatch activities.

Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure uninterrupted production.

Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and material availability to maximize productivity.

Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, rejection rates, rework, and on‑time delivery.

Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Lead, train, and mentor production supervisors and shop floor employees to improve performance and productivity.

Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize equipment downtime.

Work closely with the Quality team to ensure products comply with customer specifications and international HVAC standards.

Review production reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in HVAC manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or engineering manufacturing.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing AHUs, FCUs, Heat Recovery Units, and ventilation products is highly preferred.
• GCC/UAE manufacturing experience is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC manufacturing processes.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and powder coating.
• Knowledge of AHU/FCU assembly, refrigeration piping, electrical wiring, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S methodologies.
