Job summary

National Food Products Company (Nfpc) LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, coordinate manpower, machines, and materials, and ensure schedules and customer requirements are met.

You will monitor output and machine performance, drive waste reduction, support preventive maintenance, and participate in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or Kaizen initiatives to cut costs and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical/ manufacturing/ industrial/ polymer engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, or related plastic processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved.
• Monitor machine performance and process parameters.
• Reduce scrap, rejects, and production waste.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Report machine faults and follow up on repairs.
• Record downtime, machine efficiency, rejects, and production output.
• Maintain shift logs and production records.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S or Kaizen initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality.
