Job summary

GENESIS Executive Search is seeking a Product Manager for a multinational Home Appliances company in Dubai to lead product planning and market analysis for the GCC region. The role involves liaising with distributors, negotiating with suppliers, and driving profitability across the product portfolio.

The candidate should have 5+ years in the home appliances industry with GCC experience and be prepared to travel to GCC countries, China, and Turkey as needed.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in the home appliances sector, GCC-focused (especially Saudi Arabia).
• Willingness to travel to GCC, China, Turkey, and other countries as required.

Responsibilities

• Create product plans for MDA Home Appliances (REF, WM, AC, Cooker, MWO, Freezer, and other MDA categories).
• Conduct market analysis on trends, competitors, pricing, features, specs, and consumer needs.
• Perform ROI and P&L analysis per product, including price positioning, margins, and promotions.
• Develop hit products and manage lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch review.
• Coordinate with distributors/customers on product, pricing, and new product introductions.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve value, price targets, and favorable terms.
• Report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with customers and suppliers (China, Turkey, etc).

Job Description

• Product Planing for MDA Home Appliance (REF, WM, AC, Cooker, MWO, Freezer, and other MDA category).
• Market Analysis (Product trends, Competitor, Pricing, Feature, Spec, Consumer requirement).
• ROI Analysis and Profit/Loss analysis per product (Price/Product positioning, RRP, Promotion price, Margin structure, Buying price).
• Development of Hit product.
• Distributor (Customer) communication for Product, Pricing, New product Introduction.
• Sourcing, Negotiation with Suppliers for Product value up, Target pricing.
• Reporting directly to Managing Director, Work closely, directly with both customers and suppliers (China, Turkey, etc).

Requirement

• More than 5 years experience in the subject industry especially in Saudi Arabia.
• Should not have any issue to travel to GCC, China, Turkey, other countries.
