Job summary

Client of Salt is seeking an experienced Product Lead to own the product vision, strategy and portfolio, translating business priorities into an outcome-driven roadmap for enterprise-scale products.

This senior leadership role demands building a high-performing Product function, driving AI-enabled discovery, delivery and governance, and partnering with the CEO and other executives to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience across Product Management or related disciplines.
• 6-8+ years in senior product leadership roles such as Head of Product, VP Product, Group Product Director or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in PropTech and/or FinTech, ideally within a scaling or technology-led business.
• Proven experience leading multiple products/platforms and enterprise-scale portfolios from strategy through to measurable value.
• Strong track record of building and developing Product teams and establishing effective product operating models.
• Strong commercial understanding across business cases, investment decisions, ROI and value realisation.
• Strong understanding of AI and its application to modern product organisations.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable getting into the detail when required.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall product vision, strategy, and portfolio roadmap aligned with business and customer objectives.
• Lead prioritisation and investment decisions across multiple products and platforms balancing customer value, commercial impact, capacity and risk.
• Establish clear product KPIs, success metrics, and value-realisation frameworks.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing Product organisation including hiring, coaching, succession planning and operating model development.
• Set high standards for product discovery, delivery, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Partner closely with the CEO, Technology, Finance, Operations and other senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
• Own product business cases, ROI thinking, budgets and third-party product vendor spend.
• Identify opportunities to use AI across product discovery, development, decision-making and product experiences.
• Establish AI-enabled product practices including evaluation, governance, human-in-the-loop controls and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Represent Product at executive level and with strategic customers, partners and vendors.
